Reception
Welcome to Reception. This year, the class teachers will be Mrs Ahmedi, Mrs Coupland, Mrs Hodges and Mrs Tipler. They will be supported by Mrs Masterson and Mrs Zafar. We are really excited about our learning this year.
In Reception, children will have the opportunity to read many high-quality books, including Mrs Coupland's favourite, 'We're going on a Bear Hunt'. Mrs Tipler is particularly looking forward to exploring the topic of 'People who help us' and getting out into the local community. Mrs Ahmedi can't wait to visit the farm in the Spring term to see which baby animals have arrived.
On top of all of this, throughout the year children will experience our themed weeks, get to take part in our school vision day, have the opportunity to be involved in our year group nativity show and our individual class assemblies in summer term.
In Reception, during our weekly Enrichment Friday's, we will also be visiting the school allotment, exploring our forest school and getting creative in the classroom. We go out whatever the weather so wellies are a must! We cannot wait to go on this learning journey with all the Reception children to experience all of this and much more!
